I'm a born and raised Floridian, the son of Cuban migrants and the youngest of three boys. Growing up I loved reading, camping and playing video games. Those hobbies have stuck around, when I can find the time. 

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my partner, our pets (Manny, on the left and Butternut, on the right), searching for the perfect cup of coffee and cooking food from around the world. I've worked in kitchens, managed cafes and developed a passion for service. 

I take any excuse to connect with nature, whether it's the mountains of North Carolina or the beaches of Florida. At home, I love to read mystery novels and play  board games.
